Practical Fusion Equipment Advantages
- Certified U.S. 304 stainless steel used throughout.
- “Trombone” piped strike/sparge water blending station. Longer piping provides for positive blend before the inline thermometer for accurate temperature readings.
- Grist Hydrator – exclusive vortex, high water flow design means faster and better hydration.
- Blending station cold water Diaphragm Valve means more precise strike and sparge temperature adjustments. We don’t use low quality ball or butterfly valves.
- Blending station also has 3 functions: grist hydrator, sparge balls and a mash tun “underlet” valve and piping. Many other systems only have 2 functions.
- Water cut lauter V screen with narrower slots and lighter weight mean less particles transferred, reduced chance of stuck mash and it is easier to remove or install.
- Large, open grant can also be moved and used as a “hop back”.
- Vorlauf deflection plate for improved efficiency – no holes drilled into the mash bed.
- If system has a powered mash rake/grain out plow the VFD is mounted on a swing hinge so it is easily used on the brew deck (raking) or on the floor (grain out).
- The mash rake/plow drive motor is mounted on a separate, heavy duty tubular mount with bearings top and bottom so no shaft flex and it has long bearing life.
- Exclusive design hop dam holds back more trub & hop particles. Easy removal.
- We build custom port placement & overall design which means yours is not a cookie cutter system. You choose the fit for your requirements and facility layout.
- All stainless brew deck and stair make for an easier to clean & more sanitary deck, plus you choose the stair angle and number of steps.
- If the system has a “Flow Panel” sight glasses are built into the jumper tubes which mean easy to observe wort flow and clarity.
- Large kettle and tank feet (8”) make for more stability and spreads the load better.
- Rock wool insulation – not Styrofoam, Polyurethane or Fiberglass insulation.
- Bevel seat DIN fittings for Uni-Tank racking arms so there is no tri-clamp to fall off.
- Brite tanks w/short racking arms saves beer over center drain or standpipe styles.
- High flow tank glycol jackets – 7 + GPM – 1” inlet/outlets, not 3/4”.
- The Hot Liquor Tank recirculation circuit equalizes column temperature prior to strike/sparge.
- Flexible deposit terms custom tailored to meet your needs and schedule.
- Excellent 3 year warranty and great customer service beyond that.
- Owner’s cell number is on the equipment and you have easy access to great customer service.
No comparison, there is no better quality U.S. fabrication company !!
